Kemampuan tersebut diperoleh dari pengetahuan yang didapat secara terus menerus sewaktu hidup. Contoh:<\/p>\n<p>Dalam suatu percakapan, seseorang mungkin,<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Dapat menjawab suatu pertanyaan, atau<\/li>\n<li>Ikut dalam percakapan itu dengan tidak hanya berdasar pada kemampuan berbahasa,<\/li>\n<li>Tetapi juga harus mengetahui misalnya kata \/istilah yang umum digunakan dalam kelompok percakapan itu, atau<\/li>\n<li>Bahkan harus mengetahui konteks dari percakapan itu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Jadi, Natural language processing (NLP) is a<strong>\u00a0subfield of linguistics, computer science, and artificial intelligence concerned with the interactions between computers and human language<\/strong>, in particular how to program computers to process and analyze large amounts of natural language data.\u00a0The result is a computer capable of &#8220;understanding&#8221; the contents of documents, including the contextual nuances of the language within them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Natural language processing<\/strong>\u00a0(NLP) refers to the branch of computer science\u2014and more specifically, the branch of artificial intelligence,<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>that makes human\u00a0<strong>language<\/strong>\u00a0intelligible to machines. NLP combines the power of linguistics and computer science;<\/li>\n<li>that helps computers understand, interpret and manipulate human\u00a0<strong>language<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>As a branch of artificial intelligence, NLP (<strong>natural language processing<\/strong>), uses machine learning to\u00a0<strong>process<\/strong>\u00a0and interpret text and data.
